We're a little behind on the updates but we'd be remiss if we didn't mention the enormous challenge undertaken by Mary Collier of Siren Bicycles. Mary is attempting the Tour Divide race which covers 2,711 miles along the Continental Divide. Total climbing for the route from Banff, Alberta to Antelope Wells, NM is nearly 200,000 feet.
Mary is still on course, as are most of the racers, and will be for some time ahead. Follow her progress on her personal blog or check the live tracking and blog updates on the Tour Divide site.
Mary will potentially be the first woman to race the whole route and will be doing so on ZTR 355 29er rims setup tubeless of course. She's also riding a specially built Siren frame with a few other trick bits crafted by her talented husband Brendan.
As of today she looks to be headed out of Montana and into Wyoming. She is checking/updating her blog along the way so go wish her well.
