We introduced the DART tool in 2019 to bring a tubeless tire repair product to market that wasn't simply an adaptation of automative tire plugs. DART stands for "dual action repair for tubeless" referencing how the fabric DART seals punctures–first by filling the puncture's opening in a tire casing and secondly by reacting with liquid Stan's Tubeless Sealant inside to quickly seal any remaining gaps. Over time, we've introduced slight revisions to the DART itself. Using the chart below, you can identify which DART iteration your tool contains:
