Job Title: Digital Content & Social Media Specialist

Position Purpose:
Stan’s has an immediate opening available for a detail-oriented and highly self-sufficient Digital Content and Social Media Specialist. This role, which reports directly to the Marketing Director, will be responsible for organizing and distributing all digital content produced in-house and by agencies and partners, as well as producing and monitoring brand voice across all company social media channels.

This is a full-time position that requires minimal travel. This role can be a hybrid of remote and in-office work but does require weekly on-site office work in our State College, PA location.

Digital Content and Social Media Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Social Media:
● Demonstrate in-depth understanding of current social media channels and audiences, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, and Snapchat
● Create and maintain responsive calendar to prepare and execute social media posts
● Own public-facing communication across all current and future social media channels and engage responsibly with the public via social comments, shares, and posts in a way that reinforces positive perspective of the Stan’s brand
● Prepare regular reports to determine optimal channel use, demonstrate effective reach and consumer engagement, and take actions to consistently improve metrics
● Gather, catalog, and schedule social media content, including product mentions in both print and digital media, product reviews, or current cycling news that relates to the brand, as part of the overall marketing calendar, utilizing content generated by in-house teams, events, sponsored riders, and industry partners
● Build and manage social media audiences to optimize reach and engagement
● Maintain a positive attitude and professional approach to both internal and external communications and demonstrate a willingness take responsibility and work to continually improve

Digital Content
● Assist in the creation and management of digital brand content and marketing assets as directed by the Head of Marketing, including the creation and organization of new product videos, product photography, product informational guides, website content, social media content, and marketing collateral
● Conduct interviews with athletes, event promoters, industry connections, videographers, and photographers, and develop and present your own content ideas to create unique content for use on the notubes.com site and across all public-facing platforms
● Plan and coordinate photo and video shoots with athletes, agencies, photographers, videographers, and shoot locations
● Provide support and tactical execution of all marketing initiatives and strategize with stakeholders to create continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:
1-2 years’ experience managing social media content and engagement
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Excellent organizational skills
● General to advanced knowledge of modern mountain, gravel, and road bicycles and the cycling community
● Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
● Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google G Suite
● Customer service background or similar as relates to social media engagement
● Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush, and Lightroom, and InDesign
● Photography and/or videography experience
● Experience with Asana or similar project management application

Job Title: Accounting Manager

Position Purpose:
Stan’s NoTubes has an immediate opening available for a detail-oriented Accounting Manager who aligns with our core values of personal accountability above all else; internal or external, the customer's needs come first; succeeding together is more fun and is to be celebrated, and there are no shortcuts worth comprising our standards.

This position, which reports to the Controller, will serve a vital role in a growing department. This position can be a hybrid of remote and in-office work but does require weekly on-site office work in our Big Flats, NY location. Located just south of the Finger Lakes, the area is known for its beautiful scenery consisting of rolling hills, lakes, gorges, and waterfalls. The Southern Tier of New York is an outdoor paradise for cycling, hiking, snow sports, fishing, boating, and don’t forget the renowned wineries, vineyards, and breweries along the lakes.

Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities:
● File sales/use tax returns in accordance with jurisdiction requirements, keep sales tax licenses current, review for sales tax nexus, and register in new jurisdictions as needed
● Assist in month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP standards
● Prepare and review data used in Netherlands value-added tax returns
● Facilitate trade credit insurance and certificate of liability insurance programs
● Maintain various accounting records (Amazon, fixed assets, etc.)
● Contribute to developing, documenting, and monitoring more effective and efficient accounting processes and internal controls
● Assist in preparing for annual financial statement audit and tax return
● Prepare and review year-end forms (W-2, 1099-NEC, etc.)
● Investigate and resolve discrepancies as needed
● Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
● 3 - 5+ years experience in progressive accounting roles
● Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
● Strong understanding of sales and use tax 
● Proficient in Microsoft Office
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Strong written and oral communication skills
● Ability to work with little to no supervision
● Strong financial analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
● CPA, CMA or CGMA certification

● Experience with NetSuite and Avalara software

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Position Purpose:

Stan’s NoTubes has an immediate opening available for a Mechanical Engineer who aligns with our core values of personal accountability above all else; internal or external, the customer's needs come first; succeeding together is more fun and is to be celebrated, and there are no shortcuts worth comprising our standards.

This position, which reports to the Head of Product Design, will work within a core product development team to create innovative, high-performance products to continue Stan’s NoTubes position as the foremost leader in tubeless technology. This dynamic role will involve aspects of product research, design, development, DFM, testing, and quality control in carbon composite and alloy wheel systems, as well as related products.

The position is based in State College, Pennsylvania, home to the amazing singletrack and gravel roads of Rothrock and Bald Eagle state forests and a short drive from renowned Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake. A great place to call home, State College is ideal for those that enjoy four seasons of outdoor pursuits and the benefits of being in a major college town.

Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities:
● Design, develop, analyze and document innovative product designs which meet the cost, reliability, manufacturability, safety, and functional requirements
● Create drawings from solid models
● Validate development products
● Create test plans and execute testing procedures
● Design test fixtures and production tooling
● Create and maintain technical literature
● Create production work instructions as necessary
● Serve as a technical resource to other departments as necessary
● Effectively balance multiple projects, responsibilities, and tasks simultaneously
● Work collaboratively with other engineering and product management team members to bring product to market on time and on budget

Required Qualifications:
● Knowledge of bicycle wheels, rims, hubs and experience assembling wheels
● Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education and experience
● Minimum 2 years’ experience in the outdoor, automotive or aerospace industry preferred
● Minimum 2 years 3D modeling experience, Solidworks preferred
● Experience in manufacturing tolerances, GD&T, and fixturing

Job Title: Tech Rep
Events such as races, festivals, expos, and clinics have always been a large part of what we do at Stan’s NoTubes. These events act as outreach to the cycling community and set us apart from other companies, proving that Stan’s NoTubes is involved in the sport and supports our products, customers, and athletes. Events are a critical opportunity for the brand to interact with our end users, and the Tech Rep position is therefore the public face of the Stan’s NoTubes brand at such events.

Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Tech Rep is to provide expertise, support, and education at events in the cycling community. The Tech Rep will plan for future events as well as provide customer service support when in the office.

Tech Rep Job Responsibilities:
● Transport equipment and marketing materials to events
● Provide technical support for event attendees
● Promote Stan’s products in line with marketing goals
● Educate dealers and end users regarding tubeless technology in general and Stan's product specifics
● Identify opportunities to expand reach and visibility
● Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on schedule and staffing
● Compile regular reports on event trends and in-field service
● Schedule and promote tech clinics with dealers
● Manage van-based inventory (displays, spare parts, promotional items)
● Staff the tech and service phone, email, and live chat when not traveling
● Manage vehicle maintenance, including scheduling service

Required Qualifications:
● High School Diploma or GED
● Passion for the outdoors
